Plusnet Pro Addon - 25/03/2013

Hey there guys,
Just a quick post to ask if the Plusnet Pro addon is still viable?
I understand you had a massive shake-up of all your packages, so I was just wondering if the Pro addon still makes a difference for gaming?
Also, aside from traffic management, does the Pro addon do anything other than that?

If you are on unlimited it's a waste of money!

I'm purely paying for this service with the intention of my ping being lower, and getting no (or less) throttling on P2P and other servies.
Am I wasting my money?

What product do your questions relate to? Most of the legacy products had speed caps in the busy evening period and the Pro Add-on removed those. The new Unlimited product does not have any speed caps so nothing for the Pro Add-on to remove.
The Pro Add-on does prioritise more protocols but this would become important only if Plusnet were short of bandwidth.
The Pro Add-on does not directly affect ping but might have a secondary effect through removing speed caps.

Well I was referring to the current products. I'm a fairly new Plusnet customer and moved to Plusnet after the product changes happened, so I was just making sure that I wasn't missing anything by NOT having the pro addon. I play a lot of games, you see.
It's a bit confusing because it's still possible to purchase the Pro addon.
