Hi,
I seem to be having fairly slow download speeds recently, so I ran a BT speed test:
Download speedachieved during the test was - 3511 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :6816 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 6000 Kbps
Shouldn't I be getting better speeds that 3511k on a 6000k ip profile?
Would this indicate it's stuck on plusnet's end?
Thanks.
EDIT:
Just checked in the plusnet control panel:
Current line speed:
4000
Would anyone from plusnet be able to update this for me?
Thanks

Your not alone, every time my sync speed (and BRAS profile) improves the Plusnet current line speed remains static.
As soon as I get a bad connection, both the BRAS profile and Plusnet profile seem to drop immediately.
Just raised a ticket with support asking for a reset on the PN current line speed.
It would be better though to have a resolution/fix, or at least as I read in an earlier thread a specific button on the
data transfer speed page to cause a reset yourself as a temporary workaround.
Fingers Crossed
Avulon.
