Plusnet Extra Package - Can you turn interleaving off?

As per title.
Im moving from adsl 24 to plusnet this month, and I have chosen the 'extra' package.
I like my gaming, and ping is therefore very important to me. However, looking through the plusnet pages again, it appears that only the 'pro' package has the ability to turn interleaving on/off at will.
Say it isnt true! Have I boobed? Will my relationship with plusnet be a one-month affair, with nothing but memories of dodgy gaming? Anbody on the 'extra' package managed to get interleaving turned off?

You cannot turn it on/off at will on extra but contact customer support or raise a ticket requesting it to be turned off and it should be possible.
I'm on Extra with interleaving off, you may get a slightly slower connection or instability depending on your line and the number of errors but mine (on quite a long line) works fine.

You may have to wait until after the first ten days stable of your new broadband when it activated on day 1. After 10 days then you can ring up plusnet and ask to turn off interleaving off but it might take a further 3-5 days to be completed. Overall 15 days.
