I obtained the attenuation from my router and the calculator got the distance spot on which leads me to suspect I could get a 6000 profile. Would this improve things if I did?
Please note I am not suggesting I have a fault but I am trying to get the best out my package.

Quote SNR Margin (dB): 14.3
That would be what is keeping your synch speed below the estimated speed you have seen.
Ideally it would be around 6.
Can you describe your internal wiring?

No idea what path it takes but guess it would be around 10m with the convolutions.
Have considered putting router into test socket and then getting a REALLY long Cat5 but need to wait until stair carpet is replaced in a month or so.
Only one phone and it goes into the same socket as router via a filter.
Nothing else on phone system at all.
I would put router into test socket and go wireless but it's too laggy for gaming.
