Please could someone give my IP profile a kick?

Hello

My router is syncing at between 3.5 and 4Mb/s, but max download throughput is about 700kb/s.

This page https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed  lists my current line speed as 0.75Mb/s.

Could somone check the IP profile on my line please, in case it's stuck?

I have check everything at our side and it seems to be set up correctly. The slows speeds you experiencing, can you advise if that is on a wireless connection or a wired device. Click here  for support with speed related issues. 

 

Have you noticed any noise on your phone line, as this can affect your broadband.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm not in a position to do a speedtest right now, but when I did one it was on a wired connection.

The router is synced at 3712kbs, and the best part of three days since the last resync.

 

I'm a bit confused as this page (https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed ) still shows my IP profile as 0.75Mbps. I would have expected to see a value somewhere around 3Mbps for a sync of 3712?

 

Phone exchange:LLANWNDA

Estimated line speed:1.5Mb (This may vary between 1Mb and 2.5Mb) - Checked on 2017-12-31 14:31:22

Current line speed:0.75 Mb

Hi Rhys. I've increased the speed profile now.

 

It looks like it hadn't changed automatically when the IP profile changed to 3mbps in the afternoon on the 13th. Sorry about that. Can you reboot your router and let us know how your speed looks?
