Please can someone reset my connection speed

Hi,
having got my nice new modem working at last I'm syncing at 7.5Mb rather than the 4Mb I used to get with my old modem. To this end I wonder if someone could reset my line (or whatever you do) so that I actually see that speed please? I realise it can take 3 days, but having waited 2 weeks for the replacement modem I'm very impatient

p.s. James, the old 'broken one' will be in the post this weekend, can you tell me how to claim back the postage costs or is there a freepost address to send it to?

Your best course of action would be to raise a ticket via the Customer portal, as the forums really aren't the official means of getting things like this fixed.

I don't think PN can do anything, you just have to wait for BT's automated systems to update your IP Profile.
Post the results of a BT Speed Test here so that it can be checked.
