Peak Time Streaming

I was watching streamed video and all was fine before 4pm. A little after 4 the picture started freezing, then the buffer wouldn't fill, it would on get to 8 or 9% then start dropping. I was wondering if this had anything to do with peak time starting. I know P2P stops, or is throttled during peak (maybe depending on your product) but I didnt think web browsing, streaming gaming etc would be affected.

Re: Peak Time Streaming

Hi,
Looks like you've used more than the included allowance on your account, as such speeds on all protocols will be reduced, take a look at the following:
http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/products/archive/bb_plus.shtml
You can check your usage on the portal in the Member Centre under Connection Settings then View my Usage. You might want to consider switching over to one of our Broadband Your Way accounts which may be more suitable.

Re: Peak Time Streaming

4GB A MONTH??
I thought it was 4GB a week.
Oh well, I'll be more careful, and do my downloading off peak.
Cheers.
