Paid my account late but plusnet saying not received

Can anyone help, I have paid my bill 2days late this morning via my debit card online. The first time it crashed while doing it so thought it hadn’t worked but when payment declined after I thought it must be paid. Anyway I have rang my bank as I have no online access and they have confirmed the transaction was made. However plusnet are saying it’s not showing on their system so I’m currently restricted. Does anyone know why this could be?
