Pages not loading

Afternoon all.
Been with Plusnet for about 3 months now and from the start i've had a problem with loading web pages up, basically I have to click on a link at least 2-3 times, sometimes more, before a page will load up, although sometimes a page will load straight away. I would say the problem occurs about 80% of the time. Usually when I click an address the progress bar gets to about 90% but I have to click again to get the page to load. Also the pages time out quite often.
I have changed the DNS servers but this made no difference.
I'm just wandering if it has something to do with Plusnets traffic shaping.
Anything you guys can offer before I get onto Plusnet support?
Non LLU by the way.

Sounds like that could be down to MTU - for more information and details on how to sort it have a look at our library page here: http://community.plus.net/library/settings/guide-to-rwin-mtu/

I'm pretty convinced my problems were being caused by zonealarm, quick reinstall and everything seems fine now
