Packet loss to some destinations

All day I've been struggling to visit a number of website; traceroute shows the following:

traceroute to (, 64 hops max, 52 byte packets
1 dsldevice ( 14.104 ms 1.779 ms 2.030 ms
2 ( 14.126 ms 14.037 ms 13.147 ms
3 ( 13.506 ms 19.182 ms 13.556 ms
4 ( 14.093 ms 14.062 ms 13.463 ms
5 * * *
6 * * *
7 * * *

and so on, indefinitely. Looks like a routing problem to me; anyone else getting the same?

BBC is also seemingly affected, and - amongst others.

Other websites are completely fine.

Re: Packet loss to some destinations

I've just quickly logged into my work email and it looks like there's an open incident at the moment that could be related (ref: 9177Cool. You may have some joy after a disconnect/reconnect if you want to give that a go.

To pre-emt the inevitable question: I'm not sure why it hasn't made its way to our service status pages yet Wink
