PTN-AG2 packet drops

I notice from the data that there was a drop of 46.6331% packets just after 10pm on the 27th.
Does anyone know what the cause of this enormous amount was?

Yes but it might have done a good job in unbalancing the pipes

That was the only gateway showing any drops at or near that time, and I don't recall seeing drops of that magnitude ever before (they may have occurred and I'd not noticed!). Come on some one from PN, any info.?

Hi Chris,
I don't have any specific information I'm afraid, but if it was on the same day as a pipe drop, there's a possibility that that pipe became more quickly loaded than the others causing a higher level of packet loss.  It could also be a blip in the reporting software.

And there were no other drops on that gateway earlier in the day.
I would have thought drops of 46+% warranted some quick checks!

In honesty, given it was a couple of weeks ago, I doubt we're going to get an answer on that one.
I know it's not the answer that you're looking for, but given that it's something that happened in the past and is no longer an issue, I can't see it causing any problems.

Depends what the cause was! It might or not have helped point the finger in the direction of something that is misbehaving from time to time but not obvious, which is causing other random or intermittent issues. But there again it might not have and be totally unrelated to anything. Obviously no engineers around at the moment.

I'd take a look at the reporting graphs but they don't go back that far I'm afraid. I'd have to agree with James on this one - we've not got much to go on so I don't think there's really a realistic way to find out what caused the packet drops.
