Re: PN IP profile check/change?

Still lovely quiet line and very fast broadband:
Download speed achieved during the test was - 6.29 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.6 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :6.98 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 6 Mbps
Happy if this holds.

Re: PN IP profile check/change?

Hmm. Interesting. I'd guess the fault might be fixed, I do hope so.  Have you been tweaking? Wink
It will be interesting to see SNRM graphs, especially overnight for that speed. As mentioned previously, it'll be a bit of a trade-off between errors and throughput speed, more so at night if the SNRM doesn't go too low for the connection to drop. Good Luck with it Smiley

Re: PN IP profile check/change?

Thought I'd post here first before raising a fault again.
Line has been perfect since the fault was fixed by BT back in early August, 7M sync, very stable.
I've been away for a few days and the line is synced at just 288kbpsm with a SNR of 29dB. I've tried rebooting the modem, there is no obvious noise on the line when 17070#2
Anything else to check?

That is odd - very like the problem reported here http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,144413.0.html
