P2P being throttled overnight

I'd bought a media box, which I switched my ethernet cable to, and used wireless on my pc.
Picked up another ethernet cable today, to go back to using that.  Will see if it solves what has only occured from using wireless and bittorrent.
This may sound like a silly question, but the router has seemed hotter than normal. Could activating the wireless on it have caused it to overheat?
I have used it before, but never pushing it to line speed constantly.

p2p has been slow for me but only since I switched to Unlimited from BBYW option 3.  I would easily get 150-240kBs after midnight on BBYW, but at the moment on Unlimited after midnight I'm lucky to see 60kBs

the only things capped between 12 midnight to 12 noon are gaming and VPN to 2Mb

I don't think anyone's interested Pierre.
It was an issue with Win7 and uTorrent. Was causing occasional disk overloads, which I hadn't noticed. Fixed it by tweaking some settings.

No honestly, on this forum we think it is polite when you solve a problem, to tell other people in case they get the same problem

I don't think polite is quite the right word Peter but it is useful for a person to post the solution to their problem if it hasn't already been done so.
That's what makes these forums such a goldmine of information

Ordinarily I would have automatically done so, but as I was asking a question and making other posts, to which there was no reply, it didn't seem to be of interest.
