Orange light with flashing red B

Hi, just wondering if anyone has had similar problem, at around 10:30pm 2 nights ago our internet dropped out, still isn’t back, Plusnet don’t know what’s wrong and have passed it onto openreach, have tried everything to fix it but no luck? Just wondering if anyone has had similar and what I can expect to be the issue

@neilcoombs If Plusnet have passed the issue to OR, that would suggest it is a BT/OR network issue - not that PN 'don't know what it is'. In which case (a) don't try and fix it yourself and (b) it will get sorted when it gets sorted - BT/OR don't usually tell end-users what the issues are.

Just really frustrating as we kinda need internet with people working at home etc, and could be a week before we’re back online☹️

Understand - but electronics do have a habit of failing. Have you been given an estimate of when the issue will be fixed?

Nope, 3 working day wait for them to find the issue then they’ll probably have to send an engineer so probably around a week to get back up and running

The 'three working days' is the standard turn-round time on a residential contract, and they may not have to send an engineer if it is a network problem.
