Re: Options 1 and 2

A slightly longer answer....
- Price: Option One costs £9.99 as opposed to £14.99 on Option Two.
- Peak usage: Both carry the same peak usage times of 8am until midnight, but Option 2 offers 15GB, to that of Option 1.
- Included Hardware: You can get a wireless router on Option 2, but only a one port wired on Option 1.
- Traffic Rules:  We restrict the possible speeds on "advanced protocols" and these speeds are lower on option 1.  But then you probably don't want to be doing large downloads with a small usage allowance anyway.

Re: Options 1 and 2

The reason I asked the question is,I wanted anytime Phone 120mins, I was told this was £24.98, but when I looked at my a/c this is what I saw.
Date Order Number Product Cost Order Status Other Links
20/08/2008 BP01311921 PlusNet Broadband Your Way Option 1 with included 2GB bandwidth £9.99(monthly) Complete
View order status
Upgrade
Data transfer usage
Update payment details
20/08/2008 N/A Home Phone Anytime+ £15(monthly) Unconfigured
Change product
Top-up credit
Home Phone control panel.
What i now want to know is if i keep this a/c will I be able to use my land line as normal, at a cheaper rate?
and what is the total cost of this a/c? Thanks.

Re: Options 1 and 2

Hi Selkirk,
You've signed up for Anytime+.  That's our Home Phone service that gives you free calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers at any time of the day.  It also gives you 300 minutes to our top 20 international calling destinations for calls upto 30 minutes long.
Are you confusing Home Phone (telephone calls) with Broadband Phone (VoIP calls)?

Re: Options 1 and 2

Thanks for your reply J, that is what i asked for, but thought it was option2 , talk about confused.com, i must have
confused myself , by thinking it was option 2.
They said it would be active by the 15th Sept.
I understand I just use my regular landline number.
New to all this that is my problem.

Yeah, Jameseh is still learning - and he's been here for what seems like since the start of the internets!
