OpenDNS is going Ad-free

Just seen that OpenDNS is removing  the ads from their service, which I know will please some on here Wink

waiting to see what the catch is.
they won't be losing that revenue and not replaced it with something else.
they talk about their existing enterprise revenue, but removing ads is still a loss of revenue.

It'll probably remain free for a while, then become paid-for only.
Not that I use it - I'll avoid anything which has ads as much as possible.

the day the make it a pay service is the day everyone will stop using it and move to google DNS.

I pay the $9 a year for the filtering service, I don't seem them ditching the free ones.
