Re: Oops, not trusted, never seen before :(

Cleared your Firefox preferences?
As in theory every browser should give you that error because Self-Signed certificates (so a certificate that is created by itself) are never publicly trusted in browsers.

That's just the local certificate for your router - nothing to worry about.
Just add this certificate as an exception and that should do the trick.

That is probably because you have started using https instead of http

Cor blimey
OJ, did you have the eagle(s) breakfast this morning
Well spotted, as I did not realise the obvious
Tested with plain old HTTP rather than HTTP(S) & it goes straight to http://dsldevice.lan/login.lp

Re: Oops, not trusted, never seen before :(

That is exactly what im am getting. Im glad im not the only one with this. When I rang PN to discuss it they had no clue what would have caused it and had never heard of the issue before.
Strange how we get 2 instances of the same unique situation in less than 4 days. Surely either this is an issue that started last weekend or it happens a lot more often than thought.
My concern was why it suddenly started.
I had been logging in and out of the router all weekend with no problem.
Then for no reason this appears on both the machines I have. Nothing had changed in the way I had been trying to log in, so why the sudden certificate error.
If we now understand what the cause is, can someone please walk me through how to clear it.
Many thanks
I

Hi elisnor
In my case, it looks like
I inadvertently &  Embarrassed added the (S) to HTTP(S) rather than plain HTTP
&
Should of known better
