Online Radio

I have been asked to DJ on an online radio show so I have been checking my upload speed.  Currently the test shows 0.3Mbps upload speed.  I need a minimum of 0.6Mbps to have a decent connection for a live radio show.
Is there any way this can be improved?
Cheers,
Chris B

You can request for the upload to be uncapped by the PlusNet Staff Wink

Re: Online Radio

If you're on ADSL2+ you can uncap your upload free of charge, if you're on ADSL you'll need to purchase Max Premium roughly £10 a month for a higher upload speed.

Re: Online Radio

I think if the OP has only got 300kbps upload then there's a line length issue that isn't going to be resolved by uncapping!

One thing if you are not on an unlimited package you will use a lot of bandwidth, so watch your monthly usage if not.

Re: Online Radio

Hi Chris B,
I've got you an order placed for your upload speeds to be uncapped. I would expect this change to take effect as of tomorrow morning for you. Given the speeds you are getting at the moment, I would expect upload speed sin the region of 0.8Mb.
