Old router for plusnet had more parental controls

Hi,
im back to plusnet after a 10 year gap. The standard router TG582n has nothing like the ability to control what our family users are seeing or times they can access the internet as the old Netgear Router.
Can you suggest a router that will work on plusnet but allow me to decide quickl;y who can be on wifi, when in the day, or over the course of a week, certain websites (facebook for instance) cannot be viewed please?

AVM 'Fritz!Box' models: http://en.avm.de/products/fritzbox/ certainly offer what you want in parental controls http://en.avm.de/guide/security/comprehensive-protection-with-parental-controls/ though they are generally pricey and not always easy to source in the UK.
I'm sure other brands must have similar but I've not tried others.

Is Plusnet's "Safeguard" not available on ADSL? If it is then that will do most of what you ask.

The TG582n does have "Time of day" access control,  it's available via telnet with the R8 firmware and available in the GUI with R10 firmware.
Firmware upgrades available here:

Yes it is available. See the Safeguard thread as well and read it all to make sure you know how to use it etc...............
