Old outstanding deferred fees waived - when?

Can the ‘You Stay We Pay’ way of deferring hardware and set-up costs be explained.
It says that “if customers have been with PlusNet more than 12 months we plan to waive these fees entirely” so, as a customer who has been with PlusNet since August 2005 (deferred BT MODEM and activation offer), are these now waived ?

Yes.
The you stay we pay deferred the fees over a 5 year period (the outstanding balance was reduced by 20% each year). PlusNet changed that so any deferred fees are now waived after being on the product for 12 months. As you have been with PN more than 12 months you no longer have anything to pay on the hardware should yo leave.

Hi there,
As Peter says we waived all 5 year 'You stay, we pay' contracts more than 12 months old.
All new deferred contracts now run for 12 months.
I've checked your account and can confirm that there are no deferred contracts on your account.

Many thanks for the info.
As you may have noticed, from other post, I'm looking for a upgrade path from Broadband Plus. Hopefully staying with PlusNet but if an upgrade's impossible then any termination fees could be a factor.

Hi Peter,
There would be absolutely nothing stopping you from moving from Broadband Plus to Broadband Your Way, if that was your concern.
