I have a broadband router which on occasions drops off completely. The Loop AStt is 52 and the SNR Margin hovvers from about 4 to 8... I'm suspecting this drops when i get disconnected...... do these stats show line issues?

Hi there,
Doesn't look like it's dropping that often:

Have you seen the connection dropping more often than that?

Ah, apologies
In which case, that's a fairly high attenuation and I'm not surprised it drops with an SNR around 3 or 6. 9 should be more stable though and I believe that's what it'll be set to when he records a figure of 8.
Not sure what service he's on but he could try asking his ISP to set the SNR to 9 or 12dB, that might help things. Otherwise he'd just have to report a dropping connection fault and see what happened there.
Hope that's a bit more helpful...
