OR modem

I am planning to scrap the BT hub 4 as it takes too much space  Angry  I was wondering if I can use my old OR fibre modem on ADSL it is unlocked and is a huawei model.  I am planning to use a Apple Airport extreme the rectangle shaped version to replce BT hub 4 and use OR modem as the ADSL modem so will act as a router.
Please can someone advise me what to do.

Re: OR modem

This show how to configure it as a router, you'll still need to figure out how to configure if for ADSL.

Re: OR modem

What do you mean configure for ADSL? Do you not know?  I found an option in the Modem's GUI before which gave me an option for ADSL+2 and VDSL and a few other ones and I selected all.
Where does that leave me now?

I know it's capable of ADSL but it's something I've never tried.

You'd need to modify the ATM settings to suit.
