Not receiving email...

Is anyone else not getting emails they know have been sent to them? I am not getting some today.

Its funny you mention that, I appear to have some missing email as well!

Hi,
Have you checked in webmail to see if they are in there?
Have you tried sending yourself test messages?

I've just reported the same problem to the help desk.
I've checked in webmail and spam and I've also tried sending an e-mail to myself.
Nothing is coming through.

I just tried a test email but nothing appeared but there is an email from around 11am this morning that I have been waiting for that hasnt turned up.

Thought it was just me, after having my account re-created.
No mail getting in, to my main mailbox, or via the catchall, or into a second mailbox created over 30minutes ago.
The external (gmail) sending account is not receiving any bounce type messages either.
Can send out though.

Most of my email doesnt go through plusnet at all, its just some people still seem to use my plusnet address instead of my domain name at times

Looks like we have some email delays, but not lost email.
I've got CSC calling networks and I'll get a service status out there.

All mail seems to have stopped coming in sometime around 6pm. I've not received the notifications of new replies from these forums - and there's been plenty that should have come through!

Nothing in webmail so emails are being lost or slowed somewhere before that stage. Test emails not getting through. Nor any others.

From experience with trying to DL mail from my A/Cs just now, all mail coming in via ironport is being severely delayed or generally going AWOL ... only time will tell and all that.  Outgoing mail via ironport is also a tad iffy at the mo, however, mail coming straight in via mx.core.plus.net and bypassing ironport completely is apparently just fine and dandy.  I've had no messages via ironport on several A/Cs for several hours and nothing seems to be going out particularly swiftly either but I am still receiving mail from the outside world via mxcore almost instantaneously. I think ironport probably needs a d@mn good thrashing Cleese style and all that
