Not getting any broadband connection

Hi,

I have been a plusnet customer for around 10 days now, all was OK till today,

today I just cannot get the router to connect to broadband, i have reset many times, checked all connections, only to get flashing green broadband light, during this time i was able to get a connection for around an hour, but gone again,

is there anything I can do ?

Help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply,

The problem was fixed when I removed the front face of the main phone socket and plugged into it directly.

Hello there and welcome aboard.

 

Sorry to hear you've had trouble with your connection.

 

The problem was fixed when I removed the front face of the main phone socket and plugged into it directly.

It sounds like there may be a problem with the internal wiring of the property. If you're comfortable with it, I'd recommend leaving the router in the test socket underneath the faceplate as that's the best place for the broadband signal.
