Normal SNR on Netgear DG834?

Hi all,
Getting the following stats from my DG834 connected via PPPoE.
Is the SNR/Noise Margin of 1db normal? My connection seem stable / continuous (see ping graph at http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/share/a549892dc93ffc3b71fc2c5ff31afcc5.html)
What do you guys reckon?
Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
LAN 10M/100M 24847760 15277268 0 310 1005 455:48:04
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 14178 kbps 1160 kbps
Line Attenuation 26 db 7 db
Noise Margin 1 db 5 db
Cheers,
Phil

Re: Normal SNR on Netgear DG834?

I think it's just that the v1-v3 of that netgear model report the lowest noise margin (by default) out of all the tones in use. So out of the hundreds of tones making up the total bandwidth, only one might have the noise margin of 1 db. So it's not necessarily any problem.
There are a few low level settings for the DG834G v3 that can put in a decimal point and set it to report the average margin out of all the tones in use, amongst other things.
