Engineer visited for the second time yesterday Fixed my line (router could now pick up a ADSL signal) as there was water damage on ther pair closest to my house.
He tested the line for five mins said its good to go and left.
When i finished work and was able to use it, the connection speed was horrible and still unusable imo.

router stats:

Another update:
router stats:
Data rate(Kbps)
Downstream 1312Kb
Upstream 704Kb
NEW speedtest results:
Downstream 231 kbps
Upstream 600 kbps
Again still very poor speed in relation to router stats.
BT Speed Test:
Download speedachieved during the test was - 217 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 400-1000 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :1312 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 704 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 750 Kbps
Depsite obvoiusly having a fault still, why is my ip profile so low when the other line in the house is just under 2meg and i was informed by the engineer im ment to have been routed on the best line when trying to fix the fault.
Please can someone bump my ticket as i can't create a new fault, not sure if line is still crap or something can be done ISP end thanks.
