No internet connection since sunday afternoon. need more help - faster! question ID 138479471

Hi all, hoping someone from plusnet can get the ball rolling faster, as I'm trying to work and have had no ADSL connection since midday Sunday.

My phoneline has a dial tone, and is quiet..

My router will not initialise a link from the master socket or from the test socket behind (with filter fitted)

Tried old router modem - no luck

Internet Status: There is no response from the remote server.

Did all that on Sunday evening whilst on call to customer support, that's why I posted here today, as nothing has moved on since then except another reply yesterday from customer services to try all that again. Hoping someone here might have some more pro-active thoughts as I'm chunking through my EE phone sim at a fair rate of knots.

Hi, yeah, chat on Sunday eve when I got home. That lead me to the tests you linked me to and the fault submit page.. since then all i've had back via case report number is "can you try removing the faceplate" again.. I already told them the neighbor down the lane has the same problem.
