I moved house last week and signed up to Plusnets home phone as well as continuing the Pro Package, yet i'm still not connected. My new phone line works fine and I can make/receive calls, there is no static or noise on the line at all, yet I cannot connect to BB.
Here are some details:
Router Status
Account Name
Firmware Version V4.01.40
ADSL Port
MAC Address 00:1b:2f:7b:6b:0b
IP Address ---
Network Type PPPoA
IP Subnet Mask ---
Gateway IP Address ---
Domain Name Server ---
LAN Port
MAC Address 00:1b:2f:7b:6b:0a
IP Address 192.168.0.1
DHCP On
IP Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Modem
ADSL Firmware Version 7.03.01.66
Modem Status Connected
DownStream Connection Speed 8128 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 448 kbps
VPI 0
VCI 38
Im plugged into the Master Socket and tried different splitters (the same hardware was working perfectly fine before I moved my things over to new address) Its not a problem with me.
I also had double the Upstream on my old address.
Please can an admin check my ticket and keep me updated what's happened. I can see this been 2 weeks without internet now and its not good enough to be perfectly honest.

You are synced, have you confirmed you have the correct login details on your router?
Can you log into the router and see what it says for internet services? (IF you're using the thomson router).

I have checked and double checked my login, its fine. Just got this from tech support:
[internal]
Circuit Sync Status : Circuit NOT In Sync
Mux Port Status : In Service
This circuit is up for an average 1.0% of the time.
I use a Netgear router, the Sync light on the front of it keeps flashing...

If you go to http://192.168.0.1/setup.cgi?todo=ppp_debug it will turn on PPP logging. You can then view the log at http://192.168.0.1/ppp_log That may give a clue as to what is happening.
You need to reboot the router to turn the logging off.

Hello,
I received an email from someone on these forums but It's not in my private messages.
The problem I had (which is now resolved) was a CrossWiring. My phone worked fine, yet my internet was wired into the wrong network at the exchange, BT rang me and asked a few questions then said its common fault. It took about 10 minutes to get online. Hope this helps Guy.

I emailed you (I found the email link but not a PM link - I'm new here!), thanks for the quick reply, I've just posted my problem before I saw this. Not sure your solution will work for me as I'm on a long-standing broadband setup that was fine for several years till I switched from metronet to plusnet. I will mention the phrase cross-wiring next time support are in touch though. Thanks again.
