No connection to certain web sites???

Hi all,
I'm having problems connecting to certain web sites at the moment, namely anything Microsoft oriented.
I also cannot sign into msn messenger.
I have done a tracert to www.microsoft.com,

Anyone make any sense of it? or anyone else having problems?

I certainly didn't have any difficulties with Microsoft last night or before I came to work this morning.
Is anyone else seeing any similar problems?

I can browse to the site, but tracert ends with 'Request timed out' and pinging also fails...

I've just tried tracing from my home connection and managed to get up to step 12, which is within the MSN network before timing out.

Thanks for the replies, but it seems it was a router problem.

I installed the new router a few days ago, and MSN was working fine until today. Strange. Anyway, I've followed the instructions on the link as above, and Messenger connects fine now.
Although having said that the tracert and ping still fail for www.microsoft.com although I can now get straight to the web site. Stranger

Microsoft often block ping and tracert packets on their network (as do many other big companies) so not being able to do either is not unexpected and does not indicate a problem at MS.
