It'll take the DLM a few days to get used to you first. See if you see any improvement in the next few days - I'd be hopeful it would get a decent bump in the right direction given how your line behaved in the past.

I’ve been on the trial since 23rd October but still haven’t noticed any change whatsoever, other than upstream doesn’t reach the previous speed of 448. I have powered down the rooter for 5 minutes or so a couple of times and re-booted each morning. Any advice?

Yeah OK...... The DLM will be Ok if it decides it likes you. If it dosnt, be prepared for a fight with it......
After a few weeks, I am back to pre ADSL2+ levels on ADSL2+!!

If the DLM likes you more than Penfold, then it should drop the SNR if your line remains stable.

I'm not aware of any capping....is this something that +net would do automatically?

By default, since the official launch of ADSL2+ we cap upstream speeds because it can improve (sometimes not, sometimes barely and sometimes by a considerable margin) downstream sync speeds.
If you want it uncapping, raise a ticket and we can do this for you.

tbh I'm not at all fussed about upstream speed, especially if it can help downstream. Should I just keep re-booting every morning and hope for improvement? I haven't had any breaks in connection other than done by me so line in stable

Saw the post below and wondered if this 28 day period whereby an increased SNR, owing to a drop in connection, will revert to a previous level is true of ADSL+2?

However, the potential decrease is normally done on line errors rather than uptime.
