No Service Phone or Internet

My telephone and internet has been down , not useable ,dead,  since last Tuesday and this is how it is to-day the telephone having recovered in the night.  I have recently paid my line rental in advance and just had a note of my bill      While it now works , I think the service is awful and Plusnet are the people I pay      We have no direct contact with OPENREACH      So the blame lies with Plusnet  No performance problem  it says !!!!!!!!!  Results Image not loaded

As your phone has just come to life, what lights show on your router.  What router do you have and what speed shows at plusnet.

Re: No Service Phone or Internet

So in the time between your opening post and reply 3 you had a resync
The Plusnet profile will update over night
To get more speed the line will need to reset to get the noise margin down but Plusnet will only do that if the line is seen to be stable

Re: No Service Phone or Internet

It looks as though your speed profile has automatically adjusted - are things back to normal now?
I've released your Fault Ticket from being on hold as BT Openreach have cleared the Phone problem near your Local Exchange. Our Support Team will respond further shortly.

Re: No Service Phone or Internet

Is there any sign of fibre coming to your exchange? If you are not far from the cabinet you could see a pretty decent improvement given how far you are from the exchange.
