No SPAM For A Month - Is My Mailbox Safe?

I've got five mailboxes on my PlusNet account and these have all been receiving a steady stream of SPAM since the hacking incident last year. Two of the mailboxes are for my sons so I've been intercepting all their e-mail and screening it before I let them read it.
Four of my mailboxes are still getting SPAM but one of my sons mailboxes has not had any spam for over a month. No SPAM has got through to his In-Box and there is now no SPAM in the SPAM folder in his Webmail.
My question is this. Can I be confident that the Spammers have now "lost" his e-mail address and that his SPAM problem is over? Dare I give him his full e-mail access back?

I have a mailbox that has stopped getting SPAM  too, i.e. nothing at all in inbox.spam for a month, I stopped getting SPAM in one mailbox on Dec/5th, I wrote about it on the PUG forum here.
What do you think? Do we have the same problem?

I'm beginning to wonder whether or not one of your mailboxes is somehow deleting the messages marked as spam at the server level? TBH though, I'm not sure if this is possible as this setting is applied to username.plus.com so should be the same for all your mailboxes Huh

On this thought, yesterday I went and turned SPAM detection off and On again, and also reset the [-SPAM-] tagging behaviour too. So far no change in behaviour. Also, I did not see any 'Service Notices' in my ticket history ... which seems odd too.

Following the last major update to the mail management tools, service notices are no longer created.
Double checked and the setting is definitely applied to the whole domain and not individual mailboxes from what I can tell.

I must admit I hadn't thought of it as a problem - rather I was hoping that the spammers had 'lost' this particular e-mail address. Any test e-mails I've sent to my son's mailbox have arrived ok. He doesn't get much e-mail so it's difficult to say if messages are going missing.

Bob, did you ever get chance to check out the mailbox I mailed you? I'm still getting no SPAM to that address at all and I'm now not sure if there is a problem with it or not.
There have been a couple of genuine e-mail come through in the last week.
