No Internet light on the router

The internet light on my router is off, and I have tried a couple times to replug the cables but it’s still not working. When I try to connect to the internet on my phone, there sometimes is a’wifi’ signal but it is fake, I can’t search anything online. Could someone please help me with this? Thank you very much!
