I thought being blind was my job
We took the decision to put the End Of Day in the Comms blog as we didn't want to negate the news regarding the Computer Shopper announcement.
I suspect we'll see the EoD back in its normal place today.

Confusing for someone who looks for and reads the EOD daily.  It didn't come up on that little EOD selector on the RHS either.
Perhaps reason for the EODs needing it's own Blog?

No, it wouldn't have done.
I'm informed that the EoD will be staying in the Comms Blog for the meantime.  We do have a plan to have a single blog, with multiple categories.
The End of Day postings shouldn't be dilluting the news on the main page, especially given the number (or lack of) clickthroughs that they get.

Fair enough
As I mentioned earlier, we're looking at just having a single blog with multiple categories.
The End of Day reports don't get enough attention to warrant their spot on the front page in all honesty.

I agree with that and said as much when providing my feedback through PUG.  Having their own Blog or category that doesn't show on the homepage is the best way so the decent / important news doesn't sink so quickly off the page.
I do enjoy reading the EODs though, so don't kill them off! 🙂

I do actually quite enjoy writing my little bits for them aswell, so I would think it would be sad for them to die.  But I don't expect that to happen.
