No Broadband since Sunday

Due to BT reported problem at me local exchange we have had no broadband or phone line actkve since Sunday evening. Whilst I understand that Plusnet are dependent on BT engineers to fix issues of this kind I have no confidence that BT are actually working the issue as I get no updates on progress.
Strangely none of my neighbours have been affected by this issue so I struggle to see why this is taking so long.
Any advice to help me speed up and conclude thjs issue would be gratefully received.

@russelc If the problem is at the local exchange, it could well be a line card or frame issue. Your neighbours may not be on the same set of equipment.

Unfortunately, there is no way to speed it up - Openreach have total control over this kind of issue, and work as they see fit. Also, they could be waiting for parts/manpower.

By any chance are you in the Broadstone/Corfe Mullen area? There was a lightning strike there on Sunday, a friend was impacted.

 

You could try entering you phone number in the BT Service checker, it may show if there is an issue.
