New to plusnet and speed has dropped from 8mb to 2.5mb!

Anyone got any ideas, suggestions? When i was with sky i happily got 8mb ave. on downloads with no issues. only thing that has changed is the modem and moving to plusnet and know my service is no where near as good!

Hi there.
I've looked over your line and I can't see any issues.
You should be getting around 8.8mbps from what I can see.
Can you run through our troubleshooter using the link below?

I don't have a spare router to try nor a standard telephone. its a dect one so can't pick it up to listen for dialing tone

are those results wired or wireless as I assume that you changed routers on the move from Sky
Dect one should still allow you to hear the dialling tone once you press the button on the handset

See what the http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ says also click Click further diagnostic to get line profiles.
Then see if they match plusnet's in member centre control panel
