Hi,
Could be that your line is settling in, I have just been upgraded and have had a few drop outs as they find the best speed for the line.
Wait and see if it settles, if it doesn't then the people at PlusNet will sort things for you, they are very helpful.
Good luck,

Re: New to plus net and having a few issues - Hope they can be fixed

It actually looks pretty horrible.
Unfortunately I don't think Plusnet can raise a fault until the 10 day training period has finished.
There is one thing you can check however and that is the quiet line test - dial 17070 option 2 - the line should be quiet.
If it is noisy (crackles etc) try it it with just the phone connected and and then add the result to the existing ticket as then they can raise a voice fault immediately.
If it is quiet then you will need to let the broadband fault process take it's normal course

Hi there,
I hope the training period settles it for you though it definitely looks intermittent at the moment. Is the router in the master socket with no extension cables, and are all other items plugged into the phone line filtered? Either way we'll get the fault raised as soon as we can if it doesn't settle down.

Re: New to plus net and having a few issues - Hope they can be fixed

The router is plugged into the test socket, no extensions,  its also a brand new phone line, inc the socket and line from the pole in the street.  Support have told me that they have "turn interleaving on"  not sure what that means, but said it can take upto 5 days to see any difference.    I accept there is always a settling in period, but as the support guy said on Monday its very extreme.to see drops and speed im getting.
What does interleaving do ? and is it really going to get me back up to the full speed i should be getting.  at the moment the ip profile is set to 135k,
Surely there must be a fault on the line somewhere,  is that being investigated ? or was turning interleaving on the answer ?
Any feedback would be gratefully received.

11 Days in and profile still stuck at 135k  must be a line fault but support have just emailed me saying as i logged the fault within the original 10 days they wont look at it for another 5 days.  very annoying,    Surely after 11 days of service this isnt a settling in thing..  Its a Fault !!
PLEASE PLEASE SORT MY BROADBAND - Its getting very frustrating

Hi djflipside,
Thanks for your time earlier. I've managed to get it up to 3000k, so you should see that in the next 15 mins when it goes through. It doesn't look too bad right now but we'll have to see how it performs. In the meantime, don't make any changes to your set up, that way we'll have a better idea of what's going on.
