New to Plusnet - 4 weeks later slow speed

Hi Plusnetters
I joined from BT over 1 month ago, nothing has changed but the provider........and the speed of my connection. I was regularly getting over 10mbps download speeds, I now get a maximum of 2.8mbps
Estimated line speed:
    17Mb (This may vary between 10Mb and 19.5Mb) - Checked on 2016-03-20 16:38:24
Current line speed:
    2.7 Mb
It's causing havoc in our house! I've tried all the advice given on the Plusnet site, but had no luck. Any advice offered would be great.

Hi Darren, another newbie here. Sorry to hear about your issues, exactly the same has happened to me, I am getting between speeds up to 2mbps if i am lucky.  estimated speed at the exchange 17 actual speed varying from 0.5 to 2. I think they are taking us for mugs....

Plusnet have altered some settings on my line to try and resolve this problem. I now get an average of 5.93Mb which is over double what I was getting by way under what I signed up for. M

My landline now has a two tone sound over the top of the dailing tone.
Any ideas?

Thanks Peter. Didn't know I had this service! It seems to have overridden my own answerphone.
Still got rubbish tinternet speed and 10 voicemails from my mother in law  Undecided

Anyone from Plusnet able to tell me if I can cancel my service? I'm paying for 17mb, getting 3mb and it is causing reall issues. IMy service started on 13th February 2016

I can see we've asked to book a engineer to get this fixed.
If you want to cancel you'd have to pay early termination fees as we haven't had a chance to get a engineer out.

Good news. BT Openreach engineer came out, there were 1300 errors on my line. All sorted and up to 15.3mps. I'll take that for now.
