New router stats

Can anyone give me a link to the configuration to fit my own router, the technicolor is rubbish the wireless goes from 15mbps next to the router by the time I get to the end of the hall 5mtrs, down to 2.5 - 3mbps, before I leave plusnet I am going to try a 'proper' router.

Thanks for that, I have ordered    Netgear Wireless-N 300 AD SL+ Router with DSL Modem £45, I cannot afford the best quoted £170 I think?
