I have just had my new laptop for a day. I can connect to internet via the TG585v8, but after a few seconds the router reboots after all the lights going out, then a red light showing.
When rebooted I can surf happily on the (cabled) desktop or the (wireless) laptop. But if the lappy goes to sleep the next time I try a site the router goes into reboot.
I have tried altering the power options on battery to no avail.
This has only just happened since the new laptop has been connected.
Can anyone help me please? Both desktop and laptop are Windows 7.
Thank you.

Sounds like this: http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,98447.0.html
I favour switching off the (not very useful) 'n' mode in the router wi-fi which does seem to help.

It might also be worth trying WPA instead of WPA2.

Thanks! All sorted. I disabled Wireless N on the wireless adapter itself.
All seems good now.
Much appreciated
