New customer ,connected today ,cannot access any web sites?

Although I am connected every site/page I attempt to access comes back as not available-attempted on a number of devices and the same thing -hasn't my service been set up correctly?

Nope,just tried again "this site can't be reached " on every site I go to.On all devices 😔😕

If you're NOT USING a PN Hub One router try changing your DNS settings to Googles:

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

 

If you are using a Hub One you'll have to change DNS on each device, assuming change works

on first one you change Smiley

I've had no internet connection from last night to just a few minutes ago . My router was okay but there was some problem with DNS translation of website addresses (whatever that means). I live in North West London so maybe its a local exchange issue.

 

Would be nice if Plusnet actually took some time to notify their customers about problems with DNS servers rather than leaving us all in the dark!!!!!

Hi Stu1000

 

I can see that your service is active but there seems to be a problem with the router which isn't authenticating properly. You should be able to resolve that with a factory reset: https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-user-guides/#article-content please keep us posted.

 

AILSAFE01 The DNS error sounds like a standard error that you'd see if you were disconnected from the internet entirely. Do let us know if that becomes an issue again.

It's a hub one.i really don't want change 2 macs 2 Pc 4 i phones 2kindles 1ipad and an x box ☹️ Maybe I'll just cancel -tnx
