New customer - broadband light is green but internet is red

Hi
I recently signed up with PlusNet in my new home.
Router arrived in the post this morning & I set it up. The broadband light has gone green but the internet light is red.
Can you activate my account on your end please? (It isn't due to go live until Monday/Tuesday but it seems sorted at the exchange already).

Have you tried opening a random web page ?
Sometimes my router has that red light but I can access the internet without any problems.

Hi wivenhoe6, I've activated your account as per your request. Hopefully you're able to get online now, but if this still isn't working, I'd have to request you hold off until Monday when the order completes before contacting us to raise a fault because we won't be able to investigate further until the order updates as complete.

Thanks HarryB, that did the trick!
I only signed up with Plusnet (home phone & broadband) on Tuesday & now have both up & running on Thursday. Very impressive!

Glad to hear it, I'm surprised it's activated so quickly, especially considering the order is still in-flight, however it's not unheard of for the connection to work before the order completes.
