New customer and no internet

My router was installed yesterday and despite having waited three weeks to have that done, I am still without internet. It is clear that the router can connect as the internet light is flashing green and I have been able to log into the router. However, since entering my broadband username and password, I have not been able to see any webpages or use the internet in any other way whatsoever. If someone could help, that would be ideal as I am incredibly frustrated at present.

Morning IBE2014,
Your broadband order has not yet completed, its due to complete on the 23/09/2014 as advised on 'Service Notice: 205675072' Yesterday.
As there was no phone line in your property we had to install a new one which is why its taken 3 weeks to get to this stage in the order process.
I'm sorry for the length of time its taking to get you up and running but you will be able to get online on the 23/09/2014.
