New customer - Streaming not watchable

Joined Plusnet about 3 weeks ago. First few days it was fine then has gone downhill since.
IPlayer 4OD etc. impossible to watch.  For example it took 3 hours to get through an Intruders episode. Surfing web just about ok but very slow.
Have tried all the advice to get faster response.

Any help appreciated.

Have run the BT Wholesale - results as follows
Download speedachieved during the test was - 0.27 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.8 Mbps-2 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 1.18 Mbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 0.35Mbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 0.83 Mbps
The other tests need a bit of thought, but the download speed looks pretty poor - which I have been experiencing

Hi adwills,
I've just taken a look at this from our point of view.
Line tests show that the downstream SNR (signal to noise ratio) is set very high for your line (27.5dB) this in turn has pushed the speed profile down to just over 1mb.
As the line has been stable I've submitted a reset for this which should hopefully show some improvement within the next 24 hours.

Thanks for your speedy response.  I'll let it run a few more days then check speeds again

Improved a great deal. Download speed now 2.57.
Hopefully this will continue.
