New customer, Broadband light on but "authentication failed" on router
Internet light isnt on, but the DSL light is active. I get authentication failed when trying to connect to the internet.
Does this mean my account isnt active yet and if so can you activate it please as the text i received said it should be active today?!
thankyou in advance

It's unlikely the staff who monitor these forums will see your post until tomorrow now. I suggest giving the Support Centre a ring on 0800 432 0200 and ask them to activate your line.
Bear in mind that although BT have completed their work in the exchange (which gives sync so the DSL light is on) the admin work that routes you to Plusnet's door might not be complete. If Plusnet activate your line now you will be charged from today even though that work is yet to complete.
Nevertheless I'd be inclined to take the risk and call the CSC.

Hi there,
I can see you've been connected now for 16 hours or so Hope everything's working well for you.
