My broadband was due to be connected on 02/11/2010 but was connected yesterday.
I have full sync to the exchange but no Internet,
I presume Plusnet have to activate my account.
Is this the case?
Thanks

Plusnet don't seem to enter your login credentials into their computer much in advance of the scheduled connection date so, judging by past posts on this forum, your situation is perfectly normal.

After broadband has been added to your line (giving sync with the exchange) I think two actions have to be completed to provide Internet access.
Until BT-W do their stuff, which can take 24 hours, there is nothing for Plusnet to activate. Once that is done BT should notify Plusnet, and they activate the service.
However Plusnet often notice connection attempts ahead of notification and activate the service. Otherwise you can ring Customer Service and ask for the line to be activated. No reason why you shouldn't ring anyway, they'll tell you if BT have yet to do their stuff (implied by connection attempts not showing on their monitors).
- BT Wholesale need to add routing (realm) information into their Radius server to direct connection attempts to Plusnet
- Plusnet need to activate your service
