Hi
I just moved to a new flat with a new postcode CO12 3FH
When I put the postcode into uSwitch, plusnet is one of the providers that is listed as offereing broadband and phone but when I try to signup on plus.net site the message I get is "Broadband not available in your area"
Would anyone be able to tell me if and when plusnet broadband and phone will be available at this address?
Thanks

Hi, It looks like fibre isn't available to you at the moment unfortunately, however I'd check at http://dslchecker.bt.com/ using the full address rather than the postcode as that should give a more informative result.

Hi
If you put this postcode into the checker here http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/ADSLChecker.AddressOutput it will show your available options at the moment (ADSL2+). You should therefore be able to place an order with PN for ADSL.
Your exchange is Harwich which has been upgraded for FTTC - http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when/default.aspx?pc=CO12%203FH
I would hope if you're in a new build area, BT will look at upgrading your cabinet to FTTC. These are the rollout plans for your area - http://www.superfastessex.org/Portals/30/Documents/Vision-good-practise.pdf

Thanks both.
I still get the 'broadband not available" message when I try to sign up to broadband on the plusnet site though.
I am trying to signup as a new customer to plusnet.

That's strange - I tried the BT Infinity site and it allows you to order broadband (see attached).
It could be the database PlusNet use needs to be updated? They should be able to clarify why their website does not allow you to order broadband, but their competitors seem to allow you to order it.
