New broadband connection. Orange light

Hi. My broadband and phone were to be connected yesterday. My phone line seems fine. I've connected my broadband hub and it is going from green to orange to flashing orange. It then turns blue for about 30 seconds and then is going back to orange. Doesn't actually give me any time to sign into any devices. I was using my previous Internet and hub last night without any difficulty at all. So there seems to be no problem with the socket. I have used the new cable and filter that came with the Plusnet hub. I've tried calling the support line, but it seems they are not open at. 5:30 on a Saturday. Unfortunately I need a broadband connection for work and so I'd be grateful for any help to get this resolved as soon as possible. Thanks.

Re: New broadband connection. Orange light

@Sweep Welcome to the forums. Assuming this is a Hub2, is the final  light steady or flashing orange?

OK. In that case, double check all the cables are fully seated, and then check what is showing in the 'Username' field on the page in the image below.

Enter 192.168.1.254 in the address bar of your browser, press 'enter and follow the prompts. Please note, I do not use a PN supplied modem/router so I cannot offer specific instructions.

If that is your username, check the password is also correct. If it is, I may have to pass this to another Community member - I'm no longer with PN, so my knowledge is a bit sketchy.

Re: New broadband connection. Orange light

The <Redacted> bit is correct....don't know about the plusdsl.net bit? Is that just a standard suffix?
I've re entered the password as per the wireless password. Is that the correct one?

@Sweep   no it should be the same password you use to connect to the member centre and your account.

No, the password for that field is the one associated with your account, which you should know. The  '.plus.dsl' bit is correct.

Re: New broadband connection. Orange light

Ok. If its the one I use to log in to my account to see my billing etc, I've just changed it to that and tried to connect but it failed.
