New Router From Plusnet Today

hi,
    i have just set up the new router from plusnet today,my thompson internet light keeps flashing can someone tell me is this a problem?thankyou

Hi Steve,
I've just checked your line and your signal looks good, but you aren't connected currently.
Have you tried setting up your router as per this guide?

I don't have a plusnet router but on my ST716 the PPP led flashing just means that traffic is flowing, i.e. working.

i presume i have to leave my pc on all the time,think it seems to flash when i go into standby?

Nope - the PC can be on/off/sleep/etc. it will have no effect on the connection to the exchange and Plusnet
