New PlusNet customer - speed lower than 2Mbps

Hi all,
I've recently become a plusnet customer, and after setting everything up, my download speeds seem to be particularly low - never getting past 2Mbps download speeds.
Can anyone help me with this? here is the information from my router and bt speed test etc.
My socket doesn't have a BT test socket, so i couldnt do that test.
SL Type: ITU-T G.992.5
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 2,363
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 20.3 / 38.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 19.8 / 6.5
BT Test
Download Speed: 1.93 Mbps
Uploard Speed: 0.38 Mbps
Ping Latency: 34.63 ms
Phone exchange:
HALIFAX
Estimated line speed:
8Mb (This may vary between 5.5Mb and 12.5Mb) - Checked on 2013-12-11 11:10:17
Current line speed:
2 Mb

Any help would be vastly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Re: New PlusNet customer - speed lower than 2Mbps

You have a very low sync for your downstream attenuation. Are you certain that everything plugged into the phone line is filtered? Sky box maybe?
Were you on ADSL before? What sort of speeds did you get then?

Re: New PlusNet customer - speed lower than 2Mbps

I only have our phone line and adsl line plugged into the socket. By filtered, what do you mean? i am using the splitter that came with my plusnet pack. I also dont have sky.
Its a flat im renting, and i've just moved in, so i havent had anything at this address before.
